VACANT BKFC WELTERWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Jackson, MS (December 22, 2021) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC)The World’s Fastest Growing Sport, heads to the State of Mississippi for the 9th time with BKFC Fight Night Jackson on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, MS. The event will be broadcast on the BKTV App starting at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.

BKFC Fight Night Jackson is headlined by the vacant BKFC Welterweight World Championship between Puerto Rico’s Elvin ‘El Bandido’ Brito, (4-2), and popular Mississippi native Kaleb ‘Lionheart’ Harris, (4-3, 3 KOs). 

Advance tickets for BKFC Fight Night Jackson may be purchased through the BKFC website. The Jackson Convention Complex is located at 105 East Pascagoula Street, Jackson MS, 39201. Doors will open on the night of the event at 6:00 p.m. CT.

In a hotly contested clash and one of the best fights of 2020, the 36-year-old Brito won a split decision over Harris at BKFC-11 on July 24, 2020. Scores were 48-48 and 48-47 twice for Brito. Since the victory over Harris, Brito has captured two more wins in 2021; over Brad Kelly at BKFC-16 and Julio Garcia at BKFC-20. 

The fan favorite, 28-year-old Harris has won his last two fights, stopping Noah Cutter in the first round at BKFC-16 on March 19, 2021 followed up by a unanimous decision over Derrick Findley on August 20, 2021 at BKFC-20. Harris is best known for his second round, highlight reel knockout of Johnavan Vistante at BKFC-7
