BKFC – FIGHT NIGHT TAMPA 2

FLORIDA STATE FAIRGROUNDS – ENTERTAINMENT HALL

Tampa, FL (July 20, 2022) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, has announced details of a stacked undercard for BKFC Fight Night Tampa 2 set for this Saturday, July 23 in the Entertainment Hall on the Florida State Fairgrounds. The event will also be broadcast globally as part of the BKFC+ Subscription for $4.99 per month on the New BKFC App.

Remaining tickets can be purchased through BKFC.com. Entertainment Hall is located at 4800 US Highway 301 North, Tampa, FL 33610. Doors will open on the night of the event at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Open to the Public Weigh-In this Friday, July 22 will emanate from the Florida State Fairgrounds – Entertainment Hall at 6:00 p.m. ET and will be streamed on the New BKFC App. 

BKFC Fight Night Tampa 2 is headlined by an Interim Bantamweight Championship clash between #1 Ranked Jarod ‘Kid Gatti’ Grant, (5-0, 4 KOs) and #3 Ranked Reggie ‘Educated Hands’ Barnett, (6-2, 2 KOs).  

Co-featured in the light heavyweight division, John Michael ‘Jomi’ Escoboza of Tamarac, FL, (7-0, 3 KOs), battles # 5 ranked hometown favorite Jared ‘Captain Deadpool’ Warren, (3-2).

Headlining the undercard in the light heavyweight division, David ‘Redneck’ Mundell, (5-1, 2 KOs), of Dunedin, FL faces Virginia’s David Simpson, (1-1, 1KO). Mundell is riding a two-fight winning streak most recently defeating BKFC hardcore veteran Julian Lane at BKFC-25, his only loss coming to world champion Hector Lombard. Simpson returns to action following a second-round knockout of Jeff Souder on May 13, 2022 at BKFC Fight Night Omaha. 

Fighting in the welterweight division, Rynell Riley, (1-0, 1 KO), of Florida, clashes with BKFC debuting Heinrich Coorssen of Miami, FL. Riley made his successful BKFC debut with a third-round knockout of Trukon Carson at BKFC Fight Night Tampa-1 on December 9, 2021. 

Heavyweights will see action as BKFC debuters Joshua Sanchez of Arizona fights Ryan ‘Superman’ Shough of Bellefontaine, Ohio. 

Competing in the bantamweight division, ‘Royal’ Ryan Reber, (1-0, 1 KO), of Pinellas Park, FL battles ‘Slick’ Rick Caruso, (0-2), of Princeton, Virginia. Reber made his successful BKFC debut with a second-round knockout of Micah Mitchell at BKFC-25 on May 6, 2022. Caruso looks for his first BKFC victory following a hard-fought loss to Jack Claffey, also at BKFC-25. 

In the featherweight division Stevo ‘The Blessed’ Morris, (2-0, 2 KOs), of Tampa, FL faces Brandon ‘All In’ Allen, (0-1), of Slidell, LA. Morris comes off a fourth-round knockout of LJ Hermreck on April 8, 2022 at BKFC-23. 

Fighting in the lightweight division, Henry ‘Pit Bull’ Williams, (1-0, 1 KO), of Clearwater, FL clashes with BKFC debuting Paul Walters of Florida. Williams scored a first-round knockout of Sterling Lenz at BKFC-25 on May 6, 2022. 

Flyweight will enter the squared circle as Florida’s Joshua ‘The Lion’ Ridge, (1-1, 1 KO), faces Justyn Martinez, (0-1), of Kansas. Martinez looks to bounce back into the win column following a fight with Frank Alvarez which was stopped on cuts on May 6, 2022 at BKFC-25. 

Rounding out the card, BKFC debuting featherweight Alex Tierney of Tampa, FL battles Darrick ‘The Buck’ Gates, (0-2), of Montana.
