Undefeated Jordanian lightweight prospect

Bader “The Master” Samreen

New headliner against Jose Paez Gonzalez

Rising Stars Arabia boxing series launches this Saturday in Abu Dhabi, UAE

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (September 5, 2023) – Rising Stars Arabia (RSA), the groundbreaking boxing series presented by AAM Seddiqi Sports and proudly sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), is set to make history in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

This remarkable event comes as a result of a training camp injury sustained by Moussa Gholam, leading to an exciting reshuffle. The undefeated Jordanian lightweight sensation, Bader “The Master” Samreen (8-0, 7 KOs), has been elevated to the main event for this Saturday’s RSA series launch.

In the spotlight, Bader Samreen will square off against the seasoned Mexican fighter, Jose “Cuate” Paez Gonzales (16-2-2, 12 KOs), in a thrilling 10-round battle. The event, sanctioned by the Middle East Professional Boxing Commission, will be broadcast live on DAZN from the prestigious Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Bader Samreen, the first professional boxer from Jordan, embodies the essence of the RSA series, designed to revolutionize Arab boxing by showcasing regional talent to global audiences. Samreen, a former bronze medalist at the 2018 AIBA Youth World Championships as an amateur, moved to Dubai in 2021 due to a lack of professional boxing facilities in Jordan.

Samreen has already made a significant mark in the boxing world, having fought on the undercard of major pay-per-view events such as Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua II and Jake Paul-Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia.

Jose Paez Gonzales boasts an impressive 10-1-2 record in his last 13 fights.

The action-packed card also features the co-featured event, showcasing UAE super flyweight prospect Sultan Al Nuaimi (9-0, 6 KOs) against Tanzanian Jemsi Kibazange (18-6-3, 5 KOs). Al Nuaimi, known for his speed and agility, is a hometown favorite and an amateur champion in the UAE.

In another thrilling matchup, undefeated cruiserweight force Mohammed “The Destroyer” Bekdash (25-0, 22 KOs), originally from Syria and fighting out of Germany, will face off against Uganda’s Musa “Hitman” Ntege (8-4, 6 KOs) in an eight-round bout. Bekdash is riding a 13-fight knockout streak dating back to 2015.

Adding to the international flavor, Jordanian boxer Bishara Sabbar (6-0-0, 4 KOs) will take on India’s Mohd Azahar (8-5-1, 7 KOs) in an eight-round bout for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World super featherweight title.

The undercard features Egyptian Olympians Marwan Mohamad Madboly (2-0, 1 KO) and heavyweight Youssef Karrar (1-0, 0 KOs) in separate matches, as well as unbeaten welterweight Rohit Choudhary (4-0-2, KOs) of India.
