Orlando, FL: Saturday night brought with it a very busy professional boxing event. The Caribe Royale Convention Center in Orlando, FL was the site for the event. 24 fighters were on display in the ring, and the results of their fights ranged throughout the night. Anything from a 29 second knockout to a split decision could be seen in front of a mostly New York native crowd.
The 29 second knockout belongs to undefeated prospect Alex Vargas, who now improves his record to 10-0. Meanwhile, the knockout of the night belongs to another undefeated up-and-comer in Elon DeJesus, who is just getting started with a professional record of 2-0, both wins coming by way of knockout. A split decision came in the main bout where a woozy Melissa Oddessa Parker picked up the NABO Super Bantamweight Title after outpointing veteran IBF Super Bantamweight Champion, María Cecilia Román.
The venue was classy, the fans were engaged, and the fights were worth the price of admission. In the end, those in attendance witnessed eight knockouts and four decisions, two of which were split. The Fighting News interviewed several of the winners from the night, so be sure to check out our YouTube page for more detailed information on the fighters, the event, and the results. Finally, One for All Promotions anticipates being back at The Caribe Royale with a handful of the same fighters on a tentatively set date of April 17, 2021. So, follow The Fighting News for additional information regarding that and other future events and how you may be able to obtain tickets to them.
