Tonight, TFN had the pleasure of attending an intimate event @ Miracle Boxing Academy in Vero Beach, FL…
The event was to congratulate Dat Nguyen, who won his 20th professional fight in amazing fashion with a 6th round stoppage of previously unbeaten Miguel Flores (21-1)…
Flores was making his home debut as the main attraction in Houston, TX on February 21st…
Little did anyone in attendance anticipate that he would be walking away the loser of the scheduled 10-round bout…
This was no fluke, and Flores was certainly no stiff, as he had a dominating first round, where it appeared he may have been in for an easy night…
However, Nguyen figured Flores out midway through the 2nd round & then it was all Dat Nguyen from there…
Flores showed some power and speed throughout the next few rounds, but Dat stayed two steps ahead of him the rest of the way…
Nguyen showed speed, power, and – above all – stamina…
He looked 10 years younger than his current 34 years should show…
After a much-deserved win, it was only fitting he have a much-deserved celebration…
Tonight at Dat’s gym, family and friends gathered together to pat the champ on the back and enjoy each other’s company with enough food and drinks to feed a small army…
I enjoyed tonight’s event and certainly appreciated the invitation to attend it
We look forward to Dat’s next big fight and anticipated win…
And, as his nickname would indicate: Dat Be Dat!
