BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing returns to South Carolina Friday, April 4 when it makes its Myrtle Beach debut for BKB 39 Brawl at the Beach.

BKB Bare Knuckle returns to South Carolina Friday, April 4 when it makes its Myrtle Beach debut for BKB 39 Brawl at the Beach.  The first show since BYB rebranded as Bare Knuckle Boxing will be headlined by an international world title matchup when Birmingham, England’s “Big Pod” Dan Podmore makes his US debut and defends his BKB Bridgerweight title against Bosnia and Herzegovina’s undefeated “Slavic Warrior” Emil Markic.

It will be Podmore’s, the former pre-merger BKB Heavyweight and Crusierweight champion, first BKB Bridgerweight title defense since winning the title in Wolverhampion at BYB 33 against Ryan Barrett.  The 2-0 Markic, a 36-5 pro boxer (27 KOs), is coming off a second-round knockout of bare knuckle veteran Joey Angelo at BYB 31 in Denver. 

Also featured on the card will be Carolina stars Joshua “Preacherman” Oxendine, Maurice “Mayhem” Morris and, making her Trigon debut, Andy “The CrAsian” Nguyen.

Oxendine, a former world title contender looking to get back in the championship picture and “The fighting Pride of the Lumbee Tribe,” will face undefeated BKB newcomer Estavan Partida.  Morris will face London’s Dan Vinni, who will be making his Trigon and US debut. Nguyen will look to improve her bare knuckle record to 3-1 when she takes on rising star Erisnelsy Torres, coming off an impressive, hard-fought performance of at BYB 34.

BKB 39 will air live in North America on Vice at 8 PM ET and outside North America at bkbworld.tv.
