Armando Gonzalez, the CEO of RIZE fighting championship was recognized as the promoter of the year at the 2019 Florida MMA Awards in just its inaugural rear.
Underground Cage fighting held two events in 2018, the first event took place at the Palm Beach County convention center July 21st. In the main event Marcos DaMatta the head JiuJitsu coach of american Top Team defeated Jordan Mackin in the 2nd round with a rear naked choke making his last performance and retiring from his MMA fighting career. The second event was November 17, 2018 back at the Palm Beach Convention Center and headlining that event was American Top team Matt Wagy vs Kester Mark from ft Lauderdale, Wagy winning a unanimous decision againsMark. Its 3rd event was held March 30th at the FitTeam ballpark in Palm Beach which is the spring break home of the World Series winners the Houston Astros. Headlining that event was UFC veteran Joe Riggs vs Oscar Delgado which the bout ended up being cancelled due to Delgado injuring himself while warming up. All 3 events were held in Palm beach county which is the headquarters now for the founder and CEO of RIZE Fighting Championship Armando Gonzalez.
