$35.00 entry fee at the door for all spectators and non-tournament participants (7 and under free). Admission ticket/s will only be sold at the door (No Online ticket/s sales or pre-sale ticket/s). Admission ticket/s are non-refundable. No refunds will be given for any purchased ticket/s. No exceptions!
If a “USA Boxing registered” Boxer or Coach is not registered in the tournament, he or she must pay the $35.00 entry fee to watch the boxing tournament.
ADVANCEMENT: Only the “Open Class Elite Female & Elite Male Champions” will advance to the National Golden Gloves Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 12th through May 17th, 2025.
All others are matched bouts only; however, weight classes are “mandatory”.
A boxer “Must Compete – Must Box” to be eligible for the Florida Golden Gloves Franchise to financially pay for
their way to the Golden Gloves of America National Tournament.
UNCONTESTED BOXERS: The Florida Golden Glove franchise reserves the right to deem an “UNCONTESTED” boxer “Unqualified” to travel with the Florida Golden Glove franchise team to the National Golden Gloves of America Tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
An “Uncontested Open Class Boxer” may participate in the Golden Gloves of America National Tournament but must pay his or her own travel, lodging, and meal expenses.
REGISTRATIONS:
ENTRY DEADLINE MARCH 7th, 2025 at 5:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Tournament Boxer Entry Fee: $25.00 per entry. Tournament Coach Entry Fee: $15.00 per entry.
AGE DETERMINATION: All advancing boxers must be at least 18 years of age on March 21st, 2025, but not yet 41 years of age on May 12th, 2025.
CITIZENSHIP: All “Legal” US citizens are eligible to participate. Non-US citizens who are legal residents of the U.S. and have resided in the U.S. at least one (1) year are also eligible to participate.
PASSBOOKS: “NO BOOK – NO BOX – NO EXCEPTIONS”
Boxers must have current their 2025 USA Boxing membership. “Head-shot photo”, “Birth Certificate”, and current “Annual Physical” form mustbe uploaded on your USA Boxing membership profile.
Coachesmust be registered with USA Boxing and be certified for the 2025 year, must have completed the SafeSport training, Green Level Coaches Certification (at minimum), and have passed the Background Check.
If the coach is not registered with USA Boxing, he or she, will not be allowed to work their boxer’s corner.
If a coach is not registered in the tournament, the coach must pay the $35.00 admission fee (No Exception).
Competition Weight–ins & Pre–Bout Physical–8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Friday, March 21st, Saturday, March 22nd, and Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
Only those boxers who are scheduled to compete on that day must weigh in. All boxers must make their “DECLARED” weight and if you are not in line to be weighed in by 10:00 AM you will be “disqualified”.
Scales will close at 10:00 AM sharp.
WEIGHT DIVISIONS: Per Golden Gloves of America and USA Boxing Appendix F
CLASSES: All ages – Boxers per USA Boxing rules
No minimum number of contested bouts required to compete at the State Tournament. The minimum bout requirement to compete at the National Tournament is ten (10) bouts. Walkovers are not considered competition. MMA boxers must compete as an “Open Class” boxer or see USA Boxing Rulebook – Rule # 8.2
LENGTH OF ROUNDS: Per USA Boxing regulations, time permitting.
There will be “NO” weight changes after Friday, March 14th at 5:00 PM. No exceptions!
Live draw for Elite boxers will be done on Facebook on Friday, March 14th at 6:00 PM.
