SUNRISE, Fla. – BKFC Ice Wars, the groundbreaking new combat sports league, is set to unleash its third can’t-miss event, Bare Knuckle Brawls, on Friday, October 10, at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Following two groundbreaking, sold-out events, this promotion is making history by presenting the first-ever bare-knuckle fighting event contested on real ice.
HEADLINERS & KEY MATCHUPS The action-packed fight card features a lineup heavy on former hockey players transitioning to the brutal world of bare-knuckle.
- Main Event (Heavyweight): Canadian Hockey Veteran Nick Laporte (North Bay, ON, Canada) looks to continue his winning ways after a first-round knockout in his debut. He faces the debuting Sébastien Lafferière (Lasalle, QC, Canada) of Nordik Fight Club.
- Co-Main Event (Middleweight): Former UFC Star Charles ‘Boston Strong’ Rosa (Boston, MA)—who compiled a professional MMA record of 19-8—will face off against Canadian Hockey Veteran Reid ‘The Spaz’ Krasowski (Yorkton, SK, Canada).
- Feature Fight (Heavyweight): MMA Fighter Corey ‘AlleyTrain’ Allen (Shelburne, VT) clashes with another Canadian Hockey Veteran, ‘Chief’ Catlin Bigsnake (Siksika, AB, Canada).
